Ian MacLeod
Founder, Master of Strength and Endurance Training
Ian had his first foray into weight training with a high school weight training class in 2012, and the rest was history. What began as a way to improve his performance on the track turned into a lifelong passion. By 21 years old, Ian was already being asked by all of his friends what his secret to success in the gym was.
More recently, Ian has pursued goals in cardiovascular and muscular endurance, completing his first marathon in 2024. With the new goal of improving his endurance, he has not cast strength training to the wayside though, instead choosing to adopt a hybrid training style. The health and performance benefits of hybrid training inspired Ian to found MOAT Fitness, a brand and community centered around holistic fitness solutions.
Through MOAT, Ian hopes to inspire you to live a happy and healthy life, and inspire those around you to do the same. Join Ian and his team of fitness masters on their journey to change the way people think about health!

Andrea MacLeod
50 Something, Menopausal, Mother of Two
Andrea is a woman in the amazing second half of her life. She has always been active but has struggled with maintaining a healthy weight since becoming a Mother. She has tried practically every diet and exercise program and has learned valuable information from each. Although she has read several books on the subject of nutrition and well being, she is currently not an official expert on the matter. At present, she is enrolled in a holistic nutritionist certification program and hopes to apply both her life knowledge and education towards helping people maneuver through their own fitness journeys.
